Ho Ho Ho!

Last Saturday was Mariemont's "Luminaria" night. The Village tree was lit, Santa made an appearance, and we got about 3 inches of snow! Cullen REALLY wanted to see Santa though so we bundled him up for his meeting with the big guy in Red! I wonder what he asked for??

Happy Thanksgiving/12 Weeks!

Cullen is losing some hair now and able to roll around quite a bit! He LOVES the Red Wings too!!
Nap time while mom and dad decorate the house for Christmas!
Thanksgiving was spent with Jackie's family in Chicago. We had a great time and enjoyed seeing everyone! Jackie's mom and dad recently moved to Milwaukee and have a great townhouse downtown off of Lake Michigan--we really enjoyed the new home and seeing Milwaukee; can't wait to visit again soon.
Cousin John from Dallas is enjoying time with his newest 2nd cousin!
Grandpa Johnson and his 1st Great Grandchild!
Cousins Julianne (from Dallas), Laura and Katherine (from Birmingham) also enjoying time with Cullen!

New Master Bath Almost Done!

After a few weeks of mess and chaos our new bath is almost completed. Here's a glimpse of what should be finished early this week...

Purdue-Michigan Game

On Halloween weekend Cullen had his first trip to a college campus, Purdue! We had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa Brown, Uncle Judd and his girlfriend Megan. The weather was fabulous and made for a GREAT Tailgate featuring Judy's famous "southern boil." Michigan's woeful year continued but a great time was had by all!!

Bathroom renovation

We are 2 weeks into our bathroom renovation. We are remodeling our upstairs 1/2 bath into a full bath. It should be finished in the next 2-3 weeks. We can't wait!

Cullen hasn't quite grown into his outfit! His pants are practically up to his neck!

Visitors

We continue to have lots of people come to visit us. Unfortunately, I can't post all of our pictures of family and friends. Lately, we had my mom, Bob, Brenda, and Dan in town to see Cullen. Here are a few pics.

7 Weeks Old

This is who I get to spend time with every day. How can you resist such an adorable face? It's hard to believe that I have been a mom for 7 weeks. I truly cherish all of mt time with my beautiful son. It's going to be extremely difficult going back to work in 5 weeks. Cullen is such a blessing!

Rob has been in St. Louis the past few days for work. It's been hard having him gone (especially at night when he helps with feedings). Cullen continues to sleep in 3 hour increments which means I still am not getting a lot of sleep. Last night I experimented and tried "cluster feeding" which means I fed him every hour for 3 hours (7, 8, and 9 pm). It worked! I got 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep! It was absolutely amazing! I woke up feeling refreshed this morning! I'm going to try it again tonight so wish me luck!

5 Weeks Old!

Cullen and I went in last week for the 1 month check-up. Cullen is quickly putting on weight and is a very healthy baby boy. He had his second round of the Hepititis B shot. He cried initially but was a real trooper!
